Keith Bremer


Keith G. Bremer identified as one of the top 100 attorneys in the State of California by the Los Angeles Daily Journal, is an ABOTA member, an AV rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and voted Super Lawyer for the last four years. He is the senior partner of Bremer, Whyte, Brown and O’Meara LLP, a 100+ plus member law firm with offices in Los Angeles, Newport Beach, Berkeley, Riverside, San Diego, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Denver. In 2014 he helped conceptualize and found Viridis Law Group, the firms new practice focusing on the emerging cannabis industry. Mr. Bremer has experience in all aspects of civil litigation and has had the privilege of representing auto manufacturers, auto dealerships, contractors and business owners in trial. Mr. Bremer has been a featured contributor in the Orange County Register, Business Section and has been editorialized in, among others, Newsweek, Forbes, AOL, the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Daily Journal, CBS, NBC, Fox, KCAL and KTLA news. He recently consulted and appeared on ABC’s “20/20” and the CBS “Evening News with Katie Couric”. Mr. Bremer is regularly consulted by lobbyists and the insurance industry to provide input on proposed legislation in the legal field from California to Colorado. Mr. Bremer has obtained a verdict for $3.25 million which was affirmed by way of a published opinion out of the 4th Appellate Court of Appeals. Mr. Bremer has three published opinions ranging from right to privacy, motions for good faith and the seminal case for food poisoning. He is a two time recipient of Farmers Gladiator Trial Award. He is a member of the Southern California Defense Counsel and the Orange County Bar Association. Mr. Bremer is a regularly featured speaker at seminars throughout the United States.

Brandi Planet


Ms. Planet is an associate working in the Las Vegas and Denver offices of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara.  Ms. Planet works primarily out of the firm’s Denver office, but splits her time at the Las Vegas office due to client demand following exceptional results Ms. Planet has obtained for them.  Ms. Planet has experience in all aspects of civil litigation and has represented developers, contractors and business owners in a number of high-exposure matters.  Most notably, Ms. Planet represented a high-profile corporation in a multi-million dollar lawsuit involving the Denver Zoo.  As a result of her and the litigation team’s efforts, the client received a favorable settlement and was able to avoid trial.  The above is just but one example of the work being done by Ms. Planet and the BWBO team. Ms. Planet is currently handling several high-exposure matters in Colorado and Nevada in the areas of construction defect and general liability. Ms. Planet also practices corporate cannabis law, which includes assisting throughout the licensing process for both medical and retail cannabis and legal analysis and support in the areas of water rights, land use, franchise law, contracts, leases, cultivation permits and related areas. Ms. Planet graduated Magna Cum Laude and with University Honors from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Psychology. Ms. Planet later received her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Planet participated in the mediation clinic and externed for the Honorable Jennifer Elliott and Kenneth Pollock in the Eight Judicial District Court. Prior to her career in law, Ms. Planet worked at a boutique advertising/public relations agency where she handled public relations for several high-profile corporate clients. Ms. Planet is licensed to practice before all courts in the states of Nevada and Colorado and in the United States District Courts for the Districts of Nevada and Colorado.

Katherine M. Shrager


Katherine Shrager is an associate with the Viridis Law Group™, a subsidiary of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP.  Ms. Shrager works in the firm’s Los Angeles office, and handles matters throughout Southern California.

Admitted to the California State Bar in 2011, Ms. Shrager is licensed to practice before all courts in the state. She graduated cum laude and with high honors from California State University, Northridge where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies. While completing her undergraduate studies, Ms. Shrager studied abroad in the Czech Republic. She then earned her Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, and a Certificate in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s highly regarded Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution.

Ms. Shrager’s cannabis practice includes assisting with licensing for medical and retail cannabis based businesses, and providing legal analysis and guidance to all types of clients in the industry. By keeping abreast of the ever changing scope of regulations, Ms. Shrager is able to help all of her clients adapt and maintain efficient and legally compliant endeavors. She is also an experienced civil litigator and can handle any type of claim, whether cannabis or otherwise, from start to finish. As cannabis based businesses often get placed in receivership, Ms. Shrager has considerable experience pursuing claims within those receiverships.

Although her cannabis practice is based mostly in Los Angeles, Ms. Shrager frequently taps resources in other nearby areas, including Orange County and Humboldt. Ms. Shrager networks extensively to build relationships with other cannabis industry professionals, and then works to pass those relationships on to her clients. Mr. Kam attended UC Santa Cruz, where he obtgained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Modern Literary Studies. Mr. Kam earned his Juris Doctorate from University of San Francisco School of Law. While at USF, Mr. Kam served as technical editor of the Martime Law Journal and editor-in-chief for The Forum USF newspaper.

Matthew E. Primm


Matthew Primm is a senior attorney with the firm and the managing attorney of the Cannabis Law department. He possesses a skill set and background that is of particular use to cannabis clients. Matthew is not only able to assist in the general entity formation issues that arise for our clients, but he is also able to assist in navigating those treacherous 280E waters that our cannabis clients face under federal law. Matthew has assisted clients in acquiring licenses, entity structuring, joint ventures, various contract drafting, site acquisitions, as well as general counsel services.

Matthew also handles various general litigation matters in areas related to real estate, general liability, and products liability.

Matthew Primm received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree in 2005 from the University of San Diego. He also then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate degree from Whittier Law School and a LL.M. in Laws of Taxation from the Fowler School of Law in Chapman University.
